There is a difference between what I can do
and what I need to do to stay balanced.
Sewing demands precision.
Straight lines. Control. Repetition.
Everything placed exactly where it should be.
But these drawings are something else.
They are what happens when I stop correcting.
When I let the lines move before I think.
When the hand is faster than the structure.
The flowers aren’t meant to be right.
They are meant to be out of line.
For a brain that is constantly negotiating focus,
this is where the noise is allowed to lead.
